‘The Calm After The Storm’ – This portrait was inspired by the experience of riding the waves of life and embracing the calm after the storm has passed. This concept is symbolized by my young model’s serene expression and the soft light washing over her face and background from the right hand side of the image. My invaluable assistant tossed the model’s blue wig perfectly towards the suspended blue boat. The is a single capture, enhanced by the addition of my cloud photograph that has been applied to the background to further evoke the feeling of tranquility.

‘Wrapped in Autumn’ – This image was inspired by the warm and radiant tones of Autumn and my young model’s hair colour and her delicate freckles. Her captivating blue eyes compliment the centre tones in the backdrop, providing a very harmonious photograph. The large hair floral and autumn leaves wrapped around the model, encompass the final look.

'Flower Crown’ – Flower Crowns carry profound symbolism across various cultures and celebrations. This portrait was inspired by both the natural beauty and charm of my teenage model and the large florals. The model’s black dress draws your attention to her face and pastel flower crown whilst her wavy hair adds to the overall softness of this image.

In an age of excess, humanity slowly suffocates by its own creation, and in turn, harms the environment, as the boundary between plastic and ocean dissolves.

Identity in a world where we are now oversaturated by options and boxes and lists and lists of labels. For some, all these labels make it impossible to figure out who you truly are, because obviously it must have a label right? People deserve to simply be who they are without worrying about which box they must go in.

‘Autumn Leaves Song’ – My young model has many passions, including playing her violin. This portrait was inspired by the French song ‘Autumn Leaves’, that is commonly played on the violin. My two assistants enabled me to bring my creative vision to life, with the falling leaves and dress throwing. My model gracefully played her violin with a lovely peaceful expression on her sweet face.

The true beauty of ageing. Having a life full of emotions and experiences with each wrinkle and smile line as proof. To show the world how you lived. Most importantly, for yourself, to be reminded of all the memories that we would be nothing without.
