The Ilford Orloff Awards are on for 2025

The team at Pro Photography WA are proud to announce the Ilford Orloff Awards are about to be launched for 2025.

There will be a few tweaks, changes and improvements for 2025 and I recommend follow our Facebook page and visit this website regularly to keep up to date.

Key Dates to remember are :

• 7th April - evening info session
• 28th April - entries open
• 4th May - afternoon print critique 1
• 28th May - evening print critique 2
• 8th June - entries close 5pm NO EXTENSIONS!!
• 16th -18th June - digital judging
• 24th July - awards presentation  

These awards are keenly sponsored by Ilford and our gratitude goes to Kym Peacock at Ilford for their support. Having such a prominent international industry supplier in Ilford as the major sponsor adds to the prestige of the Orloff Awards. 

We are also blessed with an amazing team of sponsors for category and other awards including Team Digital, Sony, Success Legal, North Metro TAFE, Nikon, Jorgenson Albums, Fitzgerald Photo Labs, Camera Electronic, Eizo and the State Library of Western Australia who are all contributing to a total available prize pool in excess of $12,000 with $3,000 cash for the "Ilford  Professional Photographer of the Year" award.

• Digital entries initially (with 'finalists invited to print and be included on the Ilford Orloff Exhibition for 6 months).
• Open judging (people can attend and observe the judging of digital entries).
• Live streaming of the judging (available to all, especially helpful for regional photographers).
• A prestigious Awards night held at the State Library of Western Australia with the opening of the exhibition.
• An exhibition of award winning prints for 6 months (YES that's 6 months!!) held at the State Library of Western Australia.
• Did we mention a prize pool in excess of $12,000.
